Centerra is a premier office building located at one of Denver’s most important crossroads—the intersection of Colorado Boulevard and Interstate 25. With sweeping views of the Front Range and easy access to the city’s core, Centerra serves as a connective hub, positioned at the literal and symbolic center of Denver.

Nichez was tasked with developing a logo that expressed this unique sense of place: a mark that captured Centerra’s location, its connection to nature, and its identity as a central point of convergence in the city.

The result is a modern, elegant emblem that merges the idea of a geographic center with the natural meaning behind terra—earth, land, and landscape.

The Challenge

Centerra needed a logo that:

  • Reflected its geographic significance at one of Denver’s major intersections
  • Connected to the natural surroundings and mountain views visible from the building
  • Felt sophisticated enough for a Class A office environment
  • Scaled well across signage, digital platforms, and leasing materials
  • Communicated a sense of stability, centrality, and place

The challenge was to combine urban intersection and natural grounding into one simple, iconic form.
