Overview

Nichez partnered with Chanda Center to design signage that improves navigation while reinforcing trust, dignity, and ease of access for all visitors. The Chanda Center campus serves patients, families, clinicians, and staff—many of whom have mobility limitations or are visiting for the first time. The existing signage lacked clarity and consistency, making navigation difficult and creating unnecessary friction for visitors already managing complex physical and emotional challenges.

The new system needed to:

The Solution

Nichez designed a comprehensive outdoor signage and wayfinding system that included building identification, directional signage, and entry markers. The system guides visitors confidently through the campus while maintaining a calm, respectful presence.
